I can't even picture where they'd be able to do that. Was it in that big parking lot next to the drag strip? They set this up in the parking lot at gate 17 and yes this was next to the drag strip. They didn't truck in any drit, they broke the parking lot and dug 40' deep by around 200' X 200' and ued the dirt. The big hole had a big drop in, 180 degree turn and a big jump out. This was the 2nd of 3 races here for this season. They next race is in Chula Vista at the end of July.

I'll most likely be at the Chula Vista race in July. I wasn't going to go because it's my 30th birthday on the 24th and we were going to do a huge BBQ that weekend, but my Mom won 4 tickets at some gold event last friday, and she doesn't want to go. For free tickets, I think I'll reschedule that BBQ!

There isn't anywhere else to see around the fence.

The push-pull zoom of the 100-400 doesn't really like dusty air. The 100-400 I used on the track worked fine. Also it's not quite as dusty from the stands. It's up to you, but I couldn't sit there all day without my camera...
