Hi All,

quick question....

when looking though the viewfinder on the 5D does it seem/or is it larger than the viewfinder on the 30d?

I was lucky enough to use a Hasslblad a few months back, and the viewfinder in that was about 30% larger than my 30d, just wondering if the 5d is the same

thinking of upgrading at some point

I do not believe the viewfinder is any different on the 5D than 30D. I think you will love the 5D though......in my opinion it just produces great results.

Yes.

I wear glasses, and I can easily see the entire FoV through the VF on any of Canon's APS-C cameras, but I really have to position my eye and glasses carefully to be able to see the entire view through the 5D. And even then, I have to move my eye from left to right to take in all, while there is no need to do that with the others, not even with the 40D.

I am seriously considering getting my EP-EX15 out of storage, to see if it makes it easier.

Kind regards, Wim
