Your thoughts? Also D3x is rumored - 24Mpx res... Canon's full-frame models are being squeezed, and I hope that means lower priced 5D MkII, and major price adjustments for 1D series!

Pretty ugly. Looks like a misshapen lump.

I've dreamt about using both and in my dreams, the 5D II had better image quality but the d10 felt nicer in my dream hands.

Good, maybe Canon will finally get their act together if Nikon continues to put out quality cameras. Nikon's finally caught up which is good for competition and hopefully the consumer on the Canon end soon enough.

I don't see the rumored 5D2 vs rumored D10 or any Canon vs Nikon as a problem. Canon/Nikon always stagger their models. They probably hold secret meetings to discuss/agree on these things.

1Ds3 $8000
D3 $5000
1D3 $4000
5D2 $3000 ?
D300 $1600-1700
40D $950

A D10 with that spec would be brilliant. Another kick in the teeth for Canon.

 I wrote something about this just the other day

I think it really will be interesting to see what happens though. I don't take much more than mild amusement in the rumor-mill but I think this is an interesting time with Nikon being competitive and the 5D due for a successor to its title.
