The first shot needs more showing of what he is on - otherwise a great shot.
The second one is unbelievable. I would not have thought so much could come through from a simple silhouette.

I'm not a fan of the composition. But it is razor sharp and that's a very easy trade-off for me. The expression was expertly captured. I really like this image

Thanks for the critique guys...I have been reading a great book - Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson. I am trying to use some of his technique and it seems I am understanding it more. There is so much more to this than I ever imagined but it is so much fun to see what I can try to make my 40d do. You guys on this forum are a big help too - Thanks, Paulie
