Buying a lens like that for my (back then) XT! But try prying from my fingers these days... I'd take a bullet for it! My heart melts with every photo I take with it. Best for many things, but for me, it is my people lens! I love shooting at 2.8 with this glass! Nothing else compares to what this lens does. I had a feeling of "wow, I can't believe I just spent that much on a lens". I have had the pleasure of using this lens twice for weddings and sure am sad every time I have to pack it up to return it.
