It's worked well for me and seems to be constructed well. I have no complaints but then, it's the only softbox I've ever worked with so I have nothing to really compare it with. It's a lot sturdier than my umbrellas, brolly boxes and Photek Softlighter, that's for use. ...Leo

I would've went with the larger Photoflex octa, but I wanted to stay within a budget. I must say, the foldable aspect is pretty darn nice. Mamiya. Canon. Elinchrom.

No reason you can't or shouldn't use their stuff though. While I went with PhotoFlex SBs, I'm using AB grids with them. PhotoFlex makes better stuff, IMO. But from there it's a sharp curve - Chimera makes excellent stuff, but $300+ for a single grid? Unless you shoot professsionally in a studio day in and day out, save your money. La Vida Leica!
