S1IS problem

turned my S1 on today and the screen is black. I can view stored pics, but if I take a pic and view it, it is also black. I can view the menu, but when in shooting mode, NOTHING. PLEASE HELP!!:cry:

Did you try pressing the "DISPLAY" button? One of it's functions is to do what you have described.

Flux Capacitor is broken? Sounds like your ccd died, go to canon usa.com and get the 800 number and call them. there is a service advisory out on this and they will fix or replace.
