Hi folks,
I'm looking to upgrade from an ultra-compact to a G series for the better image quality and functionality. But I dunno if should spend an extra US$100 for the newer G9 or hunt for the older, but cheaper G7.
I probably won't shoot in RAW and from what I hear, the extra megapixels squeezed into the G9's sensor don't make it any better. Some reviews say they're virtually identical. If that's the case should I save on the extra $$$? Any thoughts?
