Has anyone ever tried gelling there on camera flash, so that it does not give the over flash powering look to your photos?

splithesky Senior Member 285 posts Joined May 2006 More info | ive actually been planning on trying this sometime soon at a show. im going to put a CTO gel over the flash and then shift the white balance to tungsten. this will give the ambient light in the room a really cool temp... and then the gelled flash should be close to neutral.
