:(

They'll probably give the 1Ds IV the high ISO, video, and bump the fps a little bit and it will truly be the best camera ever and cost more than all my other gear.

Yeah, that would be nice but, there's no telling when it's going to be released due to recent events in Japan. You should try a 1Ds III to see if you like it. :)

Yes +1 just like me, sold 5D II because of speed and focus and sold one of my 1D IV for 1Ds III

Why are people so obsessed with high ISO? I dont use anything higher than 1600.... even on my 7D.

Well, there are rarely times that I go higher than 1600, but on those times I'd love a cleaner 3200. And then, when even 3200 doesn't deliver the goods, well, instead of just packing it in I'd love a clean ISO 6400! And that's how it goes!

As some who does mostly event-type photography in low light (indoors often), high-ISO is very important to me. I shot as low-ISO as possible, but often spend my time at 800-1600, going to 3200 only when there is no other option. I'll usually try to drag a slow shutter at 800-1600 instead of just jumping straight to 3200, even though I will have less keepers and I won't be ready if something fast happens suddenly (guy gets pushed into pool, etc). But if I had really clean 3200, I'd be happy to use it without a second through and keep my shutter speeds where they probably should be anyways. I DO have a flash and use it only when absolutely necessary, prefer natural/ambient light.

Ive done a few bar/club shoots with friends and I haven't had any problems.

Very nice Vincent! Some people think this camera sucks at high ISO. This is not the case here. I'm glad you like it.

Thanks! I'd be happy with just the 50 Summilux. :) Nailing f0.95 is very difficult. :)
