Been quite busy last couple of weeks, not really had much time to post. So rather than create 2 threads I thought I'd post just the 1. Was at Brands couple of weeks ago for the Thundersport GB Bikes and then last weekend for the BARC club racing. All good stuff and for once it didn't rain or snow *shock*. Actually got bit sunburnt at the bikes.

Been playing around with my new 40D seems to work which is a good start. Having few problems with the 24-105 though. Seems ok for "stills" but anything moving it's a bit pants. Might see if I can borrow a 24-70 - that's ideally what I want but it's a few bucks. I'm mainly using it for panning or pit/paddock stuff. I really like my 10-20 but it's usually just too wide.

Anyway enough chat here's a few compressed "forum friendly sized" photos for comment...

Thundersport GB Bikes 31/05/2008...

#1 Superteens are always good fun. Massive grids. This young chap concentrates negotiating Surtees...

#2 Quite like this angle just before Surtees. Nice clean background...

#6 The Kumho BMW's wern't afraid to race hard. Taking the shortest line through Paddock...

#7 Couple of cracking Caterham races. Unfortunately this chap ended up in the Druids gravel trap. Apparently he had a bit of an "airborne moment" on the crest but I couldn't see this...

#8 The Campfields racing through Clearways. Paul ended up on top as Adrian spun it into the gravel a few laps later...

cheers boys :)

Possibly Gary. I do boost the in-camera sat setting, also sometimes the AWB can put a haze on the tarmac. I think that ones just about ok though.

Rich how do you find your 24-105? Do you use it much for motorsport? Happy with it?

I'm gonna be at Brands again tomorrow, hopefully the weather will be like today... actually very sunny!
