Hey guys,

I have four Alien Bee AB800s and a Vagabon II Batter pack. When they are pluged in the wall everything is fine, but when I plug them into the battery back they will freak out and just fire randomly. What am i doing wrong here? I have a shoot in an hour and I need to get this sorted!

Thanks so much for a quick reply!

Rian

for ab800s to fire randomly, i'de check to make sure that it's not the photodiode that's causing it. stick your headphones in the jack and see if it still goes off

I don't hate macs or OSX, I hate people and statements that portray them as better than anything else. Macs are A solution, not THE solution. Get a good desktop i7 with Windows 7 and come tell me that sucks for photo or video editing.

Based on your timeframe this might be too late but does the same thing happen when you have 1, 2 or 3 strobes plugged in?
