So yesterday I was sitting in my room thinking about how I'd arrange the white backdrop I was considering buying, until I remembered: "oh, hell, I forgot all about my vinyl room darkening roller shade!" It's perfect; it's on a roller, it's hung, and it's white! I used three flashes on this, a Vivitar 285HV on the right, a Sunpak 544 on the left, and a Canon 166A behind me to blow out the backdrop. The Vivitar and Sunpak were triggered via Poverty Wizards, while the 166A was triggered optically. I think it worked pretty well!
