What else can you ask for? lol it was some good times with friends over at my house for my birthday and my friend rich's bday.

I had set up 2 580's I and II at opposite side of the room. Fired wireless by ST-E2 with my 5D and 24-70 L
Here are some shots I liked.

i looked at your Flickr
you've got a really good sense of capturing mood, spirit, essence, etc
do you plan on becoming a portrait and head shot photographer?

i'd also suggest doing headshots and taking pictures for peoples mysapce/facebook, people your age etc. charge 25 or 50 dollars, what they can afford, and build up your portpholio (agree to take the pictures cheap in excahnge for a modle releases for each to that effect). your pictures would be awsome for myspace/facebook. if there are a lot of actors in your town you could save a little $$$ (from myspace shots) get some lighting equipment and do headshots for good $$$....... you really do capture young people well, looking at your pictures is like looking at the college pictures of photographers who are now famous. i try to encourage all people but i try not to hand out false praise. your work with people, mood, compostion, color, are all very good.

well i reccomend it because you're so good at it. maybe all the pictures i've seen are of people you know well but if you show your portfolio to people you will gain their confidence and they will trust you, because you're good, you've just got that "touch". i think i'm a very talentd photographer, you can check out my web page, but you're even better than me and you have the eye for what is "commerical" yet also natural and pleasing to look at. i read a little of your bio on your web page. if you really like people, which your photos seem to indicate, i'd suggest you work in photography more than graphic design. maybe you're just as good at graphic design too, but, i really think you have that chance/skill to havea big future in photography, whereas i get the impression that in graphic dsign, one must work just as hard, but its not as glamous and much more of a quiet carrer/lifestyle.

PS- I'm going to bed
i hope you can give me some advice on my photography and maytbe some of my graphic design work sometime later.

Wow thank you for making me feel good. haha I have never had anyone put me at that level. Graphic design is what I have always loved and done since I was 13 years old hence it being my career. Photography is something I like to do on the side to freshen up my inspiration. I don't think I can do it full time and replace Graphic Design.

Again, thank you for all your kind words.
