Optech make a product called a RainSleeve which are a budget solution for occasional use if you get hit with a shower or you can spend more and get something of a better fit and quality if you intend to be out shooting in the rain regularly. Mark Dammit I need sleep  3,386 posts Joined May 2008 Location: Perth, Australia More info | Jun 14, 2008 11:17 | #5 Well with long sealed lenses like the 70-200 2.8 IS I use a plastic bag that is not taped to anything, but covers the lens and body, with a hole in it around the viewfinder, this lets the front of the lens get wet, but nothing else really manages to get wet, even on the rainiest days (unless you are shooting into the horizontal rain of course :P) If lens and body are unsealed or lens is short, I normally tape the big hole in the bag on the lens hood and make a hole for the VF taped around it Mark
