BSB and SS600 - Friday Practice

Took these at Snetterton with 1D MKIII and 300mm f/2.8IS. I only had time to get to Russells Chicane to take pics hence they all look a bit similar:mad:

I must have been right next to you at one point looking at the one of shakey. Where you using a tripod at all?


1dmk2, 1dxmk2, Canon 70-200mm f2.8 IS,Canon 300 f2.8 is, Canon 400mm F4 DO, 1.4 and 2x tc

No I don't use a tripod, only a monopod or hand held. These were shot at the AM session.

BTW I shoot from a wheelchair

Knew they where morning shots as Shakey didnt go out in the afternoon due his girlfreined being ill, i only saw one person in a wheel there (Russells) so id say it is safe to say i was stood right behind you at one point. That 300mm f2.8 is a heavy old lens to hand hold i dont think i could.

I guess that was probably me, don't often see many masochists like me;) . I can last about 10 minutes hand holding the 300mm before putting it back on the monopod.
