Love the working distance that this close-focusing superzoom allows at bigger bugs. The OS helps in hand holding too. :)

40D + Sigma 18-200 OS + 12 mm ET, 200 mm, f/9, 1/200 sec, ISO 320, AI servo, hand held, manual exposure in available light (side lighting from early morning sun):

My 100 2.8 USM macro is of course sharper, but it can't shoot wide angle either. :mrgreen:

that looks awesome.
I wanna get some tubes for my 100-400 and see what its like. easier to shoot dragon flies if I can stay 2-3feet away instead of like 15"

Nice work, Romy. I miss my 18-200 OS lens. Very versatile, convenient, and yes, that OS is great with handheld, close up, still shots!
