tripod

hi,
I am looking for a tripod for my s3 is. I found Gorillapod Flexible Camera Tripod very interesting. It has different version for different weight of cameras. has any one tried with this kind of tripod? any experience?

If you use it like a bean bag, it's OK; I wouldn't try to use it (the Zoom SLR model is the only one to consider regardless) unless the full lengths of the legs are in contact with whatever it's resting on if used with any DSLR. Get them off the surface any and it'll slowly sag. But it's a reasonably compact alternative to a bean bag.
