Hi,

Welcome to POTN, I hope you will enjoy your time here.

With regard to your images, is that they have nice exposure and colour. What you need to consider is your composition, the horizon centrally placed within the image creates a static uninteresting image. You can learn about the rule of thirds and other compositional tips from the site here;

and reading through the posts here at POTN.

Ian :)

few question I have here. I know the images are dark but did I go too dark with the images and should of made them brighter, or is this one where the darkness adds to the picture. if you don't mind can you explain your answer a bit.

with image number 1 did I go too bright on that one? also is the noise in the water and lack of detail of the land that bad of a distraction?

with #3 should I have zoomed a tad more to bring more of the moon into the picture?

also is it just me or are these pictures showing vignetting on them? all I have on there is a single 58mm UV filter. I know I can add just about 4 filters or so before I actually see them in the picture but even with just that one is it causing the vignetting or could it just be an issue with the lighting or maybe even a camera issue?
