Its the first shots I have done of live subjects, quite entertaining waving the lens about whilst trying to keep up with them. A lot still needs to be improved upon but I am quite pleased with the results. I used a 50mm 1.8 with some close up rings that were thrown in free with an ebay purchase, not exactly the mutts nuts but it will suffice untill I am ready to shell out some more cash.

Cheers, I think the fly was in a trance watching the lens shake about :) The grasshopper is nothing that special, but the little guy was baby, only about
5mm long, so it was still a good capture on my part, considering the shakey hand.
