yes i do use photoshop cs3, i am a saturation and contrast whore  lolol. unless its for coverage the shots i gave to the magazine were just sharpened and auto toned in batch process using Digi photo pro from canon itself. but ussually for my own individual processing i try to make it pop a bit more :) hopefully its working.

i think you've pinpointed me! my friend on my left was using an L lens (it might be the 70-200mm or the 300mm, plus he was also using an extender) and my friend on my right was using a 55-135mm lense i think.. they're shots came out amazing!!
heres an upclose pic of my friend's L lense http://photos.l3.facebook.com …8704275_30689910_5832.jpg (external link)

i was using the Canon kit lens that day. i almost didn't bring my camera to begin with because it was so hot and i had water to carry but my boyfriend convinced me at the end. i'm glad he did! but i really wish i brought better lenses with me.

was this the pic you spotted me in? (i hope we're allowed to post other people's pic here... eek)

Nice job. I like to see a tighter crop on the second one, it is a bit center IMO. Less room for the car to move into, the tire smoke will then have a greater impact.

I'm glad the internet can bring us together off the track this way too. And yes, I use an EF 70-200mm f2.8 (non-IS). Had a 1.4x TC that came in handy a few times during the weekend also.
