Brick Lantern... C&C Please...

I like your composition but for some reason the point of focus seems a little distracting to me...

The foreground brickwork is in focus but the lantern itself seem to be just out of the depth of field and i seem to be looking into the blur...

Because of the angle that I shot it at, the brick at the front of the frame and the lantern were in the same plane of focus, which gives it this appearance. I think it really does give it depth this way...

My point of focus was definitely the main part of the lantern...but I see what you mean... thanks for the comments!
