Hi All,

Just messing with second curtain sync in my custom functions of my 450d. I had expected it to flash at the end of a longer exposure but to my surprise it now flashes at the beginning and end when in TV mode - not the desired reult at all!! Can anyone help me please? Thank you!!

Steve

First flash will be the pre-flash for the ETTL, set your flash to manual in 2nd curtain and you wont see the pre-flash. The pre-flash is before the mirror goes up so it wont affect the picture but can make people blink.

Yes, the first flash is the flash-metering pre-flash.
