I was wondering what people see to be the best non Canon lens for wildlife, i.e what make and model. It will be interesting for those that can't yet afford L glass.

As for wildlife lenses, they're all pretty expensive because of the focal lengths. If you're looking for a zoom, the new Sigma lenses like the 150-500 are pretty reasonably priced.
