Photography guide books for the Northwest

I'll be going up to the Northwest this weekend and have been looking for some photography guide books for my trip. I have found this website: https://www.keysecure.​com …ts.com/guides.s​ecure.html but I wanted to find out if there are some free resources online similar to these guides.

I live up here in the upper left, and use this site alot: http://www.oregon.com to find events and the like. The rose gardens are in full bloom in portland, and the sunsets have been great and last till 9-10 at night this month. narrow down your area of interest and I might have more for you.

Yeah, after reading more and more about it. It sure is a big place and I wish I would of started reading up on it a lot earlier. Well, here is a cutout from my grandparents-in-law I got earlier last week:

Tour Columbia River Gorge area/Water Falls/Bonneville Dam/Rose Garden
Travel through northern part of Willamette Valley to Oregon Coast & Astoria, Oregon
Travel across bridge to Quinault Beach Resort, Ocean Shores, Washington.
Travel along Washington Coast to Quinault. Rain forests, tide pool areas.
Travel along northern part of Olympic National Park to catch the Washington State Ferry
Tulalip Resort Casino
Seattle, Washington

Any tips or advice besides get plenty of rest this week?!

Unless your looking to gamble you should drop Tulalip.

How long are you planning on staying? Looking at your itinerary I would say you need at least two weeks to very quickly visit all those places.

Yeah, I am thinking of spending that much time in each of those places. We are planning on spending around 8 days. Well, the reason why we added Tulalip is because we are going to be staying there for the evening.

nice plan, the falls, the gorge, the roses, portland, the coast, long beach peninsula, all nice! I would add mt st helens if you have time, the evergreen air and space museum and the willamette valley wine country if you have time and some willapa bay oysters if you are so inclined. I am planning a trip to seattle myself next month, hoping to seethe downtown area and pikes market and do a ferry and Safeco field. Looking to you for advice in this area.
