way too much sharpening.... see how the sky is all granulated?

simmer down on the processing... try posting the original

I'd use a Hue/Sat Adjustment Layer, reduce the Saturation, & paint the mask to just put the change in the grill.
Adjustment Layers (external link) for local changes. Note what's said in the "Advanced Tip".

nice pic, but I'd prefer the wheels turned the other way to show the rim vs the tread.

great location - have you taken any at sunset (I'm assuming this shot was in the afternoon ...)

None at sunset, and yes, it was taken in the afternoon. Anyone have a good photo editing software? I am just starting to get into pictures and my camera (and software) aren't the greatest.

Current setup is just a canon PowerShot A570 IS

You'll get more help here with Photoshop Elements, but the GIMP is good & free.
