Just a quick question about the MT24 EX, used mainly for macro( well probably soley for macro) ; hence the question here instead of the lighting section (probably get moved there any way!) I use the MR14 EX ring flash for my macro shots but the dam focusing lights always cut out just as I'm about to do the final focusing tweak, I'm thinking of purchasing the MT24 EX and notice it also seems to have small focusing lights. Can anyone tell me if they also cut out annoyingly after a short period of time

yer they do..i think its about 10-15 seconds if i remember rightley.i tend to not use them any more any way.I have good eyes ;) what they should of done is not have a timer on them but turn off just before the shutter goes.2 things canon need to update
1 - Timer on mt-24ex..turn the timer off dam it!
2. - Diffuse the MT-24EX by using the plastic they use on the MR-14EX

Wake up canon!
