I know we have users on here that have had warranty work done on lenses, but I am about to do the unthinkable and I am curious about something.
My wife offered to get me a new lens for Father's Day. I have found the lens I want, but the best price I can find it (and be in stock) is on Ebay and it is suppose to be a new item with a warranty card. If I purchase this lens and I need warranty work done, would my PayPal receipt be the actual proof of purchase that I would need to include or do I need to ask the seller to include a receipt with the lens (if they have an actual storefront)?
I had vowed to not buy a used lens from Ebay, but a new one with warranty card at a great price is very tempting...
