Had a good day in my local forests. Went to Blidworth and then to Sherwood Pines in the afternoon. Was happy with miy pics from Blidworth but not very happy with them from Sherwood Pines.

All apart from the last photo where taken with 400D and Sigma 70-200. The last pic was with 400D and Canon 18-55 kit lens

C&C welcome

I can't fault any of these, you should be very happy with them :)

Not a bad old lens that Sigma 70-200 is it?. I rarely use mine these days as the 120-300 on the 1DMK2N is effectively the same range but if i buy a 40D as a second body the 70-200 might just come out of retirement.

As for the last one, it just shows the 18-55 is perfectly usable...in the right hands ;)

Thanks alot, yeah the sigma is good for a 5 years old lens now. I do ned to upgrade but cant decide what to go for.

As for the kit lens, i didnt think it would be very good but the pics came out quit good with it and i will use it again for motorsport

Cool shots!

I've just posted mine up to, I enjoyed the day!

Struggled with the sun at times, one minute it was out then next it went dull, settings were changing all the time for me lol
