Randy,

Click this link: http://www.live.com/?scope=web&mkt=en-US (external link)

Search Canon 100-400L
Click the eBay cashback link on the top of the page

in eBay, find the lens you want to buy via buy-it-now (I found this one which looks like the cheapest with shipping - keep in mind the 25% off doesn't apply to shipping charges, so an item with free shipping will get the full discount off the final purchase price) - http://cgi.ebay.com …ZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem (external link)

It will tell you in the final purchasing stages, before clicking "Commit to Buy" if the purchase is eligible. I tested that above item and it does work for $250 cashback.

Actually if you do want to purchase that one, you can just search for the part number once you bring up the eBay link (type in 330255639277 and it will bring it right up) - just to clarify I have no affiliation with this auction, it's just the cheapest one I happened to find. Total price would be $1030 shipped after the 60-day cashback of $250.

Hmm I wonder...

If I sell something to myself on eBay for $1000, can't I buy it for $750 while still putting $1000 back in my pocket?

i thought about this idea too. too bad it says that the cashback is not vaild with fraud.

"The purchase will stay in pending status for a period of 60 days to account for returns, refunds, fraud and other processing issues. "

"Microsoft may disqualify transactions, refuse redemptions and/or close your account at any time if you participate in any fraud or abuse relating to the service (including conducting "sham" transactions or otherwise colluding with merchants), make any misrepresentation in connection with your participation in the service or do not comply with this contract. "

if this wasnt said then eveyone could be making free MONEY! :)

Damn. Maybe I'll give my friend my laptop, and have him re-sell it to me on eBay so I can make my own profits. LOL

I am aching to buy a 580exII. $389-10%-25%= $254 but i can't push the button since I already have a 430 and this would only be used on rare occasions.

It was a joke, hence the "LOL" part. Relax.

Has it been said anywhere how long this offer will be good for? I couldn't find that info. I understand that the percentages differ from day to day, but I wondered when the offer expired as a whole.

Thanks in advance...
Sandi

It's been going at different rates for 2-3 months...I don't think anyone knows when it will end.

You need to click the ebay cashback link at the top of the page you're on jsilva.
