One of my lecturers applied for a job in the Office of the Queensland Parliamentary Counsel, who write the drafts for bills presented in Parliament, and he was lucky enough to get an interview. This was when he had just finished doing Honours in whatever course he was doing at the time. If you're going to write laws, you need to have good grammar. He didn't. The whole idea of the interview was so they could make fun of him for assuming they'd give him a job based on his "average" writing skills.
Okay, so it's an irrational fear with great likeness to a nightmare, but it's daunting nonetheless. 
I should be fine - I don't think they'd waste their time, not for an AO2 position.
