Thanks guys - I am happy with the last one too!

Thanks Peter - funny how the other images took so much work and setup, while the last one just required me to pull over to the side of the road, snap the shot and then a few pp tweaks when I got home :) We still need to organise a get together for some astro shots though we are coming into a busy part of the year. As far as polar alignment I still have "L" plates on so I am not sure what I can teach you, but if we can organise a time we are both free I will be there with bells on ... well with a car full of astro gear at least ;)

I agree, must have a night of scoping.... In ref to your comment about the setup, I know, it takes me hours to setup the scope for the astro pics too! I did like your other pics tho, pretty impressive actually.

Okay, late tips if anyone hasnt got a bet on yet.

Race 7.

Win/Place/Each Way

2. Master O'Reilly
7. Zipping
12. Bauer
18. Profound Beauty

Box Trifecta

2. Master O'Reilly
7. Zipping
17. Newport

And if you can get a bet in for an earlier race...

Race 4.

Each Way

10. Sensational Toy

Race 5.

Each Way

3. Hips Dont Lie

Nice tips Sam, at least you gave it a whirl... I couldnt PICK any of the winners, had no returns from the TAB!!! But somehow scored first in two of sweeps and second in another at work...
So that works out nearly even for the day :)
Better luck next year hey

Yeah, but that is the cup for you. A lot about luck and nothing else thanks to there being so many horses running. Still pleased about getting back what i spent and then some on race 5.

Think ill stick to the other races during the day, better chance of some decent winnings in those ;)

That's what I love about gambling - smaller draws / lower-level races sometimes net the better return.

Get yourself a big golf unbrella, some good boots and go out bush looking for flowers, and other still life stuff :D. Thats something good for a wet week. Cootha Botanical gardens should be good this time of year... If youre up for it, on the weekend, I can pick you up and we can go shooting somewhere? I havent been out proper shooting since the RAAF airshow.

Some of you will have already seen this but I wanted to share a photo from the wedding on the w/end, it was so much fun!

IMAGE: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3180/2991620686_cc94a59525_o.jpg

Also I'm looking for locations out the Samford way which would have perhaps some long grass, old post and rail fences, maybe some old buildings etc. Anyone know of any thing?
