Here we go. Hoping it works.

From what I have read, they are for public use and have seen a few private boats tied up at both.

Dave, thanks for the practical advice, I hadn't had a chance to play with it yet but that looks much better. Damn, seems like I will just have to go back for some more practice!

I think it needs a minor adjustment to the white balance, it's too green/yellow overall.

I had a quite puddle in PS (I'd usually use LR, but didn't this time - LR is a LOT easier), anyway, here's the edit, mind that it's been recompressed so there may be jpg artefacts. You'll notice a big difference when your polariser arrives too, as the surface reflections are fairly severe (esp. in the foreground).

Just think of the toys you can buy with that

The minister of finance is sure to okay at least one more purchase now ;)

Can I tempt you with some new crumply goodness perhaps?

Ah well we'll wait and see on that front - she's very wary about spending anything, and is thinking new car for herself at some stage...

Trumples wrote in post #6639942 (external link)
That's good news about the job Dave, sucks about the car though :(

Well I really wasn't looking - I.T. gives me the ****es these days, but it's money and one can't sneeze at that (well until you're a multi-billionaire, then you can use $100 notes for hankies).

Urgh! Just saw the edit I did on a different monitor, definitely not up to scratch, but it gives you an idea anyway :)

Edit: BTW anyone enjoy a hand or 2 of poker? I would be interested in hosting a friendly game at my place some time in the near future. Good excuse for a little meet?

Nice shot - black cards are unusual.

I've played the odd hand, but not in many years.

Also I'm looking for locations out the Samford way which would have perhaps some long grass, old post and rail fences, maybe some old buildings etc. Anyone know of any thing?

Like this Helen ?

That's a big pooch now! Glad mine aren't that big, I'd be squashed in the mornings when they want to go out.

Bugger... I have a shoot tomorrow, and then it's Kara's birthday on Sun, so we'll be heading out and about.
