Ohh that looks good, where is it??? please, please? I'm shooting a 2yr girl tomorrow :D

Hills Rd, Cedar Creek.

Here's the google map location (external link).

I could direct in person, as it's just down the road, but I've got a shoot at Burpengary tomorrow.

Any thoughts of a shoot around town sometime this weekend?

Bugger, I went and bought some lavazza yesterday because i didnt think anyone would want a trip out this weekend. It would be short notice and have to be today if it happened for me.

Theoretically I'm camping at Springbrook on the 23rd... BUT having just got a job, I don't know.

That is plenty of notice - we could pencil that in and see what the consensus is.. but still wouldn't mind an earlier one if anyone else is keen

Some of you will have already seen this but I wanted to share a photo from the wedding on the w/end, it was so much fun!

Also I'm looking for locations out the Samford way which would have perhaps some long grass, old post and rail fences, maybe some old buildings etc. Anyone know of any thing?

Lovely shot, so very clear. Great DoF

We had a tidy 39mm of rain yesterday/last night, so the creek is now flowing nicely again. Stopped for a quick shot on the way home this morning, nothing special, but it looks ok.

Nice, I hear we're in for some rain this summer.

What will be done with the whole precinct looks nice. And they are even keeping the old gasometer frame.

Edit: Just discovered they have to keep it as it is heritage listed. Something I did not know before.

Yeah, too bad nothing else will be built for year after we move in though. We are being force feed how good it's going to be. They are worrying more about the 6 star green rating on the building than on the needs of the staff.

Edit: BTW anyone enjoy a hand or 2 of poker? I would be interested in hosting a friendly game at my place some time in the near future. Good excuse for a little meet?

Never played, but could learn.

Lovely shot Dave.

I'll definately come out next weekend. Hopefully the sky will be playing nicer then as well. I've got a semesters worth of soil chemistry, box models, geology, sediment composition and climatology to learn before tuesday

The last exam though, I know everything backwards and the lecturer started giving us questions off the exam sheet, so Im not worried about that one.

Well we didn't end up meeting this arvo. I stayed at home added the 1Tb disk to my Windows Home Server (WHS) system today. Totally painless experience, the hardest part was moving the internals aside to fit the new HD into the spare drive bay. After about a minute I had 1Tb of extra space. As you can see in the first screen cap I still have three spare bays to add extra drives.

Here's a couple of screen caps
This is the console app that you run from your PC's
This is a Disk Management Add-in (free) that gives you a different view of your system storage.
