Mmmm, I suppose the Pelican micro case range would work for you, these ones are for larger things like 400mm plus etc ;-)a

A nice enforced holiday from work is worthwhile :)

Huh, and I thought size didn't matter....

Some phototax from me... today is the first day I've had time to go out and take some photos of QLD.... this is around the corner from my house no less:

Stitched from 18 raws! The .psd original is huge.

Nice work, Jim - welcome to sunny Qld!!

Hey guys...

I sorta need a big favour... does anyone work for a company who has a warehouse? Large enough for cars to drive into.

I have a car photoshoot on this weekend in Brisbane (Thurs-Sat) and I really need a warehouse as the weather looks like it's going to blow big time.

Let me know if you have access, or know someone who has access, to a warehouse for me to do some shooting in. Guarantee nothing will go missing, will keep noise to a minimum, no burnouts, skid marks etc. etc.

Bugger, no, I don't have access to such a facility, but you're right about the weather. If it was last week, you'd have been laughing.

ok, let us pretend, that I have been eating my all bran and have been a regular poster here in the last couple of months.

HELP! My darling 50mm, has now decided that something has jammed the focus ring and I can not move the focus ring below 1m. Any recs for a place in Brisbane where I could take it???? Mar' darling baby is only working at 50%. I have an RDO today as well so somewhere I could go today would be a big bonus.

sigh.

Helen,

I seem to remember a camera repair place up Petrie way. Can't remember the name but I think it's been mentioned here before. Dave DeG might know. <off to do a quick search myself>

If we still had our acreage, you could've used that... had a 6 car garage shed thing :)
