I'm attempting to get on the official photog. crew for that. But even if I don't I'll be there - probably on the Saturday for certain.

Yeah, that's a bit harsh really, but I figure photo sharing sites probably fall under the personal use banner.

I figured since the sky was so clear you could easily see the Milky Way with the naked eye, I'd do some trails while there, and what better foreground interest than a satellite dish ?

And no real photo tax from me today, although Ill put this forward as tax. I was playing with Word Press earlier and I like the whole thing better than blogger. Just looks better and is easier to manage. Hopefully I can keep this one going.

Hmmm... having just realised tomorrow is Saturday... (yeah well I was on holidays), and I've not heard anything back from the Official Photography co-ordinator, I'm not sure I'll be there tomorrow after all - maybe Sunday though. (Might still be tomorrow, depends).

Correction: It seems I am on the official team... so I'll be there tomorrow, and maybe Sunday too.

Thanks - 'twas worth the side trip. I'd love to spend a few days up there having an explore, but mid-winter might not be the best idea (not without thermal underwear and very warm gloves anyway).

Thought I'd drop in and warn you that my kid (from Missouri - USA) is running loose in Brisbane - take good care of her! She is down there staying with a host family for a few days prior to heading down to Sydney for World Youth Day 08. First time out of the US for her and sounds like she is having fun and you all are being great hosts - thanks! She's got the sd750 with minimal training - hope she gets some good shots. You run into a "Brooke" from Missouri - get a few shots and send them to me!

the blogs look good guys.. i really like yours Greg.. works really well with Coppermine from the looks.

i decided to get my blog up and running too today.. i think it'll do for now! i went with Wordpress and i'm impressed.. even synch's up with my Gallery2 photo gallery stuff if i want it to.
