mmm yeah it looks more stylish than Blogger. :)

Ooooh yeah. And a heck of a lot better than attempting to use myspace for the same function

Hi all,

Thought I'd drop in and warn you that my kid (from Missouri - USA) is running loose in Brisbane - take good care of her! She is down there staying with a host family for a few days prior to heading down to Sydney for World Youth Day 08. First time out of the US for her and sounds like she is having fun and you all are being great hosts - thanks! She's got the sd750 with minimal training - hope she gets some good shots. You run into a "Brooke" from Missouri - get a few shots and send them to me!

Oooh cool. Well, we will if we bump into her. Hope she has fun over this way :)

V8 Supercars... nice. :) Are you at liberty to say which one? :D

Team in the development series, (race image motorsports). Im the data engineer for one of the cars so Ill be in charge of car setup, getting the most out of the driver, telementry and all that kinda stuff. I have been thrown right into the deep end but I will be working my arse off to make the most of it.

Only downside is that now I wont be able to take any photos all weekend, and with my new lens arriving on thurs :(. Oh wells.

Hi peeps, long time no post, well, a few days anyway.
Been busy giving the site a bit of an upgrade.

I know I still have lots to do but CC welcome.

The site is very nice - simple and I like the speed of the slide show (pics are fantastic) :D

All good but I like the ants best - mainly caus I've never been able to get a decent shot of one

Thanks Peter,

My brother in law is opening a gourmet burger join across the road from the Gabba. I'm just back from the burger testing. It was a hard job but someone had to do it. Hard to get a scale of these things but they are huge, I don't want dinner tonight. Very tasty also.

That's OK, Campos is on the way home.

For me, anyway.

PS. No. 3 looks a bit dark to me Greg. Anyone else, or is it my "night duty" eyes?

So, what sort of commission do you get for this promo work? ;)
They certainly do look appetising.

It's the image and not your eyes, I've only resized them nothing else.

ha, with my mother-in-law, sister-in-law and wife in retail marketing the last thing they need is me.

We were just talking to them about how it went off, they did 74 burgers in 2hrs this arvo.

Hey, if you can get the folk on here hooked on them burgers like they are on their coffee you might just outdo all three of those marketing whizzes :)

In any case, it sounds like he might have a success on his hands. Congratulations to him.

mmmm, I remember the days when you'd go for a burger, the buns would go on the hotplate with the meat. It would be huge with egg, onion, beetroot, tomato, lettuce etc... My favourite was the Husky burger when I was at HMAS Creswell about 25 years ago.......
