Dam!

Wivenhoe ?

And if so, I take it that's not from the lookout thingy ?

Back from the Abbey. Ran into DdG up there. Going through the shots now.

I've managed to do a quick cull after downloading my shots from the weekend - 1200+ photos to go through and process now.

However, I did manage this one today that I'm relatively happy about (would have been happier if I'd underexposed more and wasn't shooting jpg - yes, you heard it here, I shot jpg a couple of times over the weekend, sometimes due to lack of space on the cards, this time because I wanted more buffer).

Definately, I prefer to buy another card than to think about using jpeg.

Had that been an option I'd have done it on the spot - alas, not that many camera supply vendors at the tournament ;-)a

Ah, the spillway looks quite similar to Wivenhoe, except of course Wivenhoe is nowhere near 80% full.

All quiet on the POTN front today, I must say.

I spent the morning feeling worse-for-wear (combination of some sort of cold, two days on my feet shooting the Abbey Tournament and some sunburn (from day one of said tournament)).

Then I took the kidlets to the movies, forgetting I had an important work related email to send (d'oh!), got back, sent said email, been veg'ing since (although I just made pizza which is almost done).

I spent another 9 hours at work today. Then walked home from Mt Ommany. Tell you what, we had every shop owner and his dog in at work today buying cans of coke. Cheapest they have ever been but we had to put a limit on the number of cartons they could buy....

37 per customer, per trip into the store.
