Spanish Manual

Okay, I am totally new to this: bought my father a Canon Rebel Xsi digital for Father's Day. He needs a spanish manual! I have been going crazy trying to find one. Can anyone help me out??? I wish to thank everyone in advance. Muchas Gracias.

Doesn't make sense. Maybe try the Canon site for Spain?

Just a suggestion. Use the search function in this forum for search for "EOS 450D" to find a POTN member in Europe who owns a 450D. The 450D is identical to the Rebel XSi, except that it comes with a CD containing the manual in Spanish and French.

You could then use a PM to ask a 450D owner to download the PDF file for the Spanish manual and email it to you.

Most of us here are willing to help out a fellow POTNer.

Contact Canon and explain to them you didn't receive a Spanish manual and need one. They should send you one out free of charge.

I didn't receive an English maunal with my old XT. I called Canon and they sent me a new (albeit much larger) copy out.

Most companies are pretty good about doing this as it limits their liability if you should harm yourself while using their product (like sticking your tongue in the mirror box!). Thats why they have all those warnings on the front few pages!

I have the Spanish manual for the Xti, maybe could be useful...

Both my XT and my 40D came with both English and Spanish manuals. Unfortunately I don't have the XSi or I would offer to send you the Spanish manual.

Hopefully someone will take pity and offer you one But Canon should have them, Call or E-mail your Canon distributer and hopefully they can send you one.

I sometimes forget theres alot here that don´t speak spanish.
