I'm gonna say right away that I'm not a sport photographer so I'm still learning the tricks about this very hard photo technique.

I'm very happy with the shots I got, just wish it was a lady competition instead!!

Too bad it was in the early after noon, the light was very harsh.

I like the first and third shots, the action is stopped nicely. The second shot just looks like to two guys jumping! Need the ball in there! Well done tho!

First I wish you saw his face. Good work though for not ever having done this.

3rd shot has something wrong. I am looking at it and see that the focus is WAY off. You made a comment about wishing it was a ladies comp. Well you did great on focusing on the player but totaly blew the chance on the girl in green in the BG of number 3.

Other than that I am thinking you did very good for not liking sport shooting. Better luck on the lady shots!

Uh, funny looking blue and gold thing behind the blue guys left arm and the net tape?

All in all not bad, their faces are lit, which works for me. Coulda done without the armpit in shot #1, face would've been nicer.

shooting club VB and club soccer, hoping to get back to landscape work soon.
