More info | Jun 17, 2008 09:35 | #6 If you are going to be shooting macros, I would think that you'd want to set the lens to MF and focus on the subject manually because of the very shallow DOF relative to the apparent size of the subject in the viewfinder. That works for me. Just move in/out a bit to get the focus. Don't try to use the focusing ring, or you'll need a straight-jacket after 10 minutes. FrankC - 20D, RAW, Manual everything...
