Hi Crew,

I am in the process of setting up a profile at model mayhem. before I upload some images for it. I would like to get a bit of input from fellow memebers etc.

Of the following two images, which do you think is better? and furthermore some C&C would be nice too. I dont feel the pics are too risque, but perhaps some other members may feel so. Anyway would love to get alot of feedback on this.

Thanks,

NicholasBB

Sorry, but IMHO the angle doesn't help this photo - and there appears to be a WB issue that might help being corrected first - before converting to B&W

In my humble opinion.

And for what it's worth, I prefer the colour version. Nice job on the lighting.

I agree. Though I'd like to see the first B&W image in colour as I think it's the better image.

The blue one not flattering, to her or you. The color one is only OK. The Black and white one I don't like. For the half cent my opinion is worth, I would'nt put any of them up. Unless they are all you have and you are working on projects to replace them.

Put her in a more natural pose.

You are already on MM, so just blow through a ton of portfolios and get some ideas on poses. MM is actually a great referance for stuff like that. Poses, Lighting, locations, moods, there is a wealth of ideas there that can be used. I dont see it as copying. Unless you really are trying to make a copy. But it can be just inspiration to spawn your own creation. I will admit to doing this. Images will spark an idea totally unrelated to the image that you are lookng at.

The color version is better, but she appears to be straining her neck to look at the camera. I think it would be a much stronger image if she were in a more natural position and not looking at the camera. The composition is fine, the pose is just off.
