Somehow I ended up doing some work for an ATV magazine last year, and am back doing it again. It's all fun, cause a few of my snowcross buddies are also racing quads. It was a pretty nice hot weekend, but the dust got unbearable, and at times made me give up shooting. The Pros and Intermediates, were hucking the big triple on the back straight, and it was one of the few places that kept me out of the dust, and even gave me a little shade to get out of the sun and enjoy some cold water.

#1 is superb and insanely sharp! Really liking the angle too, gives the rider that look of superiority. Nice job.

There used to be Canon gear here but it disappeared.

Thanks, I think I'll submit that one to the magazine when I turn in my article.

Definitely, there's something about it that just grabs your attention. Put that on a cover with some well placed text and a good headline and I'm pretty sure you'd have people walking by the magazine rack and glancing at it.

I wish it was a cover shot, but its not my call what makes the cover, as I am not an editor, just a contributer to the magazine.

I do like #1.
Shutter around 800-1000th?

Just enough blur in the tyre tread to make it interesting.
It's good when they have some nice high-contrast colours for centre focus to pick up on.
