Holy crap that's close! How much did the seats cost?

$160 a piece, ~$350 total for the two after Ticketmaster got done bending me over... $160 (My tickets are actually through Ticketmaster, official Vikings sales, not a re-sale) is actually the most expensive ticket in the dome. This must have been from a season ticket holder that opted to not buy the playoff tickets.

I had actually bought some pretty decent upper level seats Tuesday morning. Then I kept checking back to see what else came up, just for fun. A couple of clicks Wednesday at noon and these gems came up. 40 yard line, 2nd row and on the Eagles side. I wasn't going to do it, but my wife said to go ahead, when will you ever be able see a playoff game this cheap from great seats?

So now I've got 4 tickets. Having a tough time getting rid of the other two, because the stupid game still hasn't sold out. It might even get blacked out, the NFL granted them an extension until tomorrow to sell the rest of the tickets. I'm thinking that Target, Best Buy or General Mills might have to buy up the remaining seats to get it on TV, if they're willing to spend the cash.

Even if I have to just eat the other tickets or give them to some bum outside the dome, $500 for the sideline tickets seems alright to me.

We even got a hotel 5 blocks from the dome.

Check this out, just did another search.

50 yard line, almost dead center of the section (~32 seats?), exactly mid-way up the first level. 2 seat $160 a piece.

Wow that's cheap! The last time I went to fedex field (skins) I paid $80 for one nose-bleed that was about 12-15 rows from the very top! I guess the minny market is somewhat softer, eh?!

Ditto !!

The Bills in Toronto tix were far more expensive ! Especially for a pair in that section. Both the pre-season game in August and the December game.

First off, that is pathetic that the Vikings and Cards can't sell out for a playoff game! We had 7,000 seats go on sale Thursday morning, sold out in minutes. I might be able to score our company's tickets, but not sure yet.

Just take your 679B, 1D2N, and your 70-200L and I think we'll be able to spot you! ;)

Yeah, the Cards tickets are a bit spendy (so I almost understand that), but there is no reason the Vikings shouldn't be able to sell out, especially with how cheap the tickets are.

And they want a new, bigger outdoor stadium!

You know, the Vikings site says still cameras are fine, and doesn't mention any restrictions. The Metrodome sight says no longer than 6" ( I think). Like I said, the hotel is only 5 blocks away, so I'll probably try and get in shortly after the gates open (2 hours before the game). If they say no, I'll just walk back and put it in my room. I am certainly not taking the 679 though!

I would definitely be taking my 685B, but I understand the size penalty it brings.

Sweet! You'll make the 3rd quarter audience scan, since the Vikings will be down by 4 TDs by then! ;)
