Help with a camera bag

Sand is an excellent colour for Domkes. I have a grey F-1 and a navy F-2; the rest of my collection are sand. And I rarely use the inserts that came with the bags; mostly I use the 720-230 3-compartment and 720-200 single-compartment inserts. And I fully agree with In2Photos; you don't need to worry about padding the main compartment for your camera; the stuff you put in the pockets will do that job quite nicely.

Well, Jon knows I love the blue Domke bags, I have 2. The bag I have is replacing the Velocity 9x I love. It just doesn't fit 2 camera bodies with long lenses. My Domke F-802 bag is perfect for my essential 2 cameras with flash events. And it looks like a briefcase, not a camera bag. I have the Adventure 9 for my Laptop and gear, but it gets heavy if I stuff it. I travel with both these bags and can carry about 2/3 of everything I need in them.

I was using my stuff so much last week, my poor Domke got dirt all over it and was rained on in the storm, etc. But it stays perfectly the same after every outing. I love it. I hardly use my other bags because I find having 2 cameras very nice.

Dunno about the smaller bag, but just wanted to mention that I've really liked my Fastpack since you are considering that as your larger bag. I got the 250 a few weeks ago and used it walking/hiking through Canada and niagara falls. The fastpacks are quite comfortable and versatile as a camera pack and normal pack combined.

Good luck with picking out the other bag though.
