Talk about mixed weather. 2 days of Cloud/Sun/Rain and heat made things interesting to say the least. If it wasn't pouring down you were struggling to get decent shots due to Blazing sun and heat haze !

1. The Dunlop Sport Maxx mob head into Clervaux corner. This could be a good series if they had more than 12 cars in it..

7. Very eye-catching paint job on this Radical...the racing still had me falling asleep though.

8. One to prove to the tree-huggers that little tweety birds do not drop dead when a car is started. This little chap didn't even flinch as the cars passed by 10 or 15 feet way...

Evening Geoff,
That Sigi 500 is working very well for you.:)

Now normally circuit racing is not my gig for photography due to massive lenses and sometimes boring racing, but you have done really well here with some of the shots.

The no 2 Mini shot is standout ,period, absolutely love it ,10/10

The no 6,RS 200 is a cracker,enhanced considerably by Gods varnish(rain)8/10

The no 7,Radical ,really like it for colour ,sharpness and wet,8/10

The no 8,little wagtail shot is rather cute,7/10 for artistic impression.

Regards,
Pons:)

Nice photo's Geoff, A friend of mine was racing his mini but i think he crashed after about two laps, his dad was not pleased as he had spent a lot of time and money as a sponsor getting it prepared. (James Winnifrith driver)

regards bill.

Great shots there Geoff. 3 wheeling Mini is well caught and the RS200 in the rain is just spot on.

Nice to see you are getting the best out of the 500mm lens

I have to agree with you about the Sport Maxx brigade Geoff - the cars look good, the racing at the front end wasn't bad but they desperately need to get bigger grids to make the most of things.

The last two 'racing' shots are the pick from this lot for me Geoff. The RS200 looks great in the rain, and while the racing might not have been the best we've seen at Croft this year, I did enjoy watching and photographing the Radicals on track.

The little Wagtail in the last shot frequents the Clervaux gravel trap on a regular basis!

Simon.

Great shots Geoff. The #21 mini is my pick. Like you say it's a proper mini and reminds me of a little puppy cocking its back leg up. A super shot.

The weather certainly looks changeable - but you come to expect that at Croft.

Nice set. Great catch on the Mini. The bird shot is rather nice, shots like that help tell the story. Well done.
