I was at a car show last weekend and a few cars turned up in various states of restoration.

Just noticed the hand brake lever myself now you point it out.Don't want it rolling away and getting damaged do we! Think it also had an alarm fitted.:)

What is it? Mazda or Datsun? or Neither...

The Escort was a great car & a lot of guys here raced them, but I doubt that anyone here would put the money into #1 that it will take to do a frame-up restoration.
