Is it possible to install the user name on the G9? I've tried using my EOS utilities, but that didn't work (since it's not an EOS?). thanks

You've have to use the clunky Zoombrowser as far as I know -- that's what I did.

Hi all

Can anyone step me through installing a user name on the G9. I managed OK with my
5D but I am unable to find the information on how to do this in the software manual for the G9.

Open Zoom Browser 6.0.1 Camera Window with the G9 connected, press SET/camera icon, enter owner name, press ok.

Sorry, i have the german version installed...

Yup, use zoombrowser to add your name then delete the software from your computer
