Help! I need a new bag for some international travel.

I do not want a roller bag so I have narrowed my selection down to the TT UD 60 and the Crumpler 7MDH. The gear I would like to travel with would be:
Mark D III body attached to lense or not
30D body and grip attached to lense or not
24-70L with hood
70-200L with hood
35L with hood
10-22 with hood
580EX
2 Pocket Wizards
Gary Fong Lightsphere II
CF cards, blower brush, 2-3 filters, cables and other smaller nick-nacks
No laptop

I would also like to use this bag for my full-time bag while working back home. It would need to also fit my 100-400L without a few of the other smaller lenses.

I need to get this done fast so any help would be greatly appreicated.

wow... thats gonna be heavy! For my international travels I've adapted to carrying everything in a ThinkTank backpack for transport enroute and then flattening a smaller shoulder bag (a National Geographic Medium for example) into my check-in luggage to use when i'm actually shooting... otherwise it just gets too heavy on your neck/back/shoulder if you have to carry your gear while on foot...

I HIGHLY doubt you can fit all of that into a 7 MDH bag. I have a 40D gripped + 17-55 w/hood, 70-200 f2.8 IS + 1.4x + hood reversed, 10-22 + hood, 580EXII, some various accessories, and I've pretty much exhausted the space with very minimal room left to spare.

Seeing your gear list above, I would recommend you check out the Cumpler Brazilian Home. That would be a better fit for you imo.

All that stuff will NOT fit in a 7MDH. Lose one of the bodies and the dongsphere and you'd be good to go.

Hi guys,

I'm still divided between the UD50 & UD60. The different is less than $20. My current gears are 40D gripped + 17-55 w/ hood, 580EX and some cleaning tools like rocket blower. I'll also be carrying a laptop inside the bag, either Dell Latitude D420 or HP nc6400.

I suppose both the bags fit my gears for now, but I'm wondering whether UD50 will fit everything above together with a 10-22 and 70-200 2.8 IS later on?

The Unofficial Rule of Bags(TM) states,

"No matter how large the bag, you will always find crap to fill it to capacity."
