Taken at the Icelandic auto days. 572CI engine and a big blower. I don't have times for that car though.

I'm digging the 2nd picture. Car looks like the Batmobile and RoadWarrior Holden had an offspring...."Monster" car of some sort.

Wild looking car! Too much contrast, though.

hmm, I didn't touch the contrast... but the Satin black and the harsh sun might be exaggerating a bit. please, point out what bothers you ;) I want to know what I'm doing wrong.

I'd like to see some detail in the wheels & tires. I think the flare in the side of #1 & the white building in #2 have thrown your meter reading off.
Try manual in those tough conditions. First set the f-stop & shutter speed you need. Then adjust the ISO. Need an exposure crutch?

This shows how the subject can affect the exposure & why manual keeps me worry free: Post #47

Is that on the street? I can't imagine that car hooking up very well.......even with those big meats in the back.

They look a tad underexposed to me.......

yes, it's on the street. He wasn't competing, just showing off.

But here's another car on the same place, settings and post processing.

Are you saturating these? The skies look completely wrong. Way out of whack.
